Before using our online shopping service, carefully read the terms and conditions described below. They must always be complied with when purchasing from Adega Mayor.
In case of omission of any condition, the accepted customs in the distance selling sector shall be considered according to the rules of the Code of Ethics and Fair Practices Loyal of the AMD – Direct Marketing Portuguese Association.These terms and conditions govern the contractual relations between Adega Mayor, SA, based in Herdade das Argamassas, 7370-171 Campo Maior, hereinafter referred to as "Adega Mayor Online Shop", and the people who wish to make a purchase through the Adega Mayor website (www.adegamayor.pt), hereinafter referred to as "user".
The Adega Mayor Online Shop reserves the right to unilaterally modify, at any time and without prior notice, the layout and configuration of the website, the product catalogue and the conditions required to access and/or use the website.These terms and conditions define the general conditions of sale, established between the Adega Mayor Online Shop and the user, such as: access to the site, ordering, payment method and conditions of delivery of the products.
Alcoholic beverages available for purchase at the Adega Mayor shop may only be purchased by individuals who are of legal age to do so, in their country of residence.Access to the Adega Mayor Online Shop is free and does not require prior user subscription or register.
The user shall be liable for damages of any nature that the Adega Mayor Online Shop may suffer as a result of his/her failure to comply with any of the obligations he/she is subject to under legal notices.The user undertakes to make a diligent use and keep secret any access code(s) and user name(s) assigned, in any case, to access the site or the services.
The customer authorises Adega Mayor to send information about products and services that may be of interest to the customer, using his/her personal data for direct marketing purposes via any communication channel, e.g. through the use of electronic mail, SMS, MMS or other forms of automatic call.
Adega Mayor guarantees the confidentiality of all data supplied by its customers.
The Adega Mayor database is registered with the National Commission for Data Protection.
All customers are entitled to access, rectification, cancellation and opposition of their data. If, at any time, you wish to be removed from the Adega Mayor database, you can exercise this right through the following email: email@example.com
The Adega Mayor Online Shop reserves the right to refuse or withdraw access to the site or services, at any time and without notice, at its or a third party's discretion, to users who do not comply with these legal notices or the specific conditions applicable.
Validation of the purchase order assumes that the customer is aware of and accepts the general conditions for contracting and use of the website. The data recorded by the Adega Mayor Online Shop are proof of the set of transactions made between Adega Mayor and the Customer.
Adega Mayor reserves the right to change any description, image or other information from the Online Shop catalogue without notice.
In case the product is unavailable, Adega Mayor agrees to inform the user as soon as possible.
Adega Mayor only dispatches on business days. Therefore, weekends or holidays are not accounted for in the estimated delivery date.
Any modification of the type of applicable VAT will be reflected in product prices. After this date, the prices may be amended at any time.
All of the prices indicated in the shop can be changed without prior notice and can be out of stock at any time.
Promotions in the Online Shop are not applicable in the physical store, except when identified as such.
The shipping costs are borne by the customer and calculated according to the product weight, destination and total price of the order.
Shipping costs are free when order value is above 25€ for Mainland Portugal.
Upon receipt of the order data, the user has 48 hours to make the payment. If payment isn’t completed within that period, the order will be cancelled.
When choosing ATM payment, you will receive an email with the necessary data to pay in an ATM or through Homebanking service.
In case of payment with Paypal, the user account shall be debited on the day the order is dispatched.
The payment method described as “cash on delivery” is not available in the Adega Mayor Online Shop.
The Adega Mayor Online Shop will make every effort to ensure maximum confidentiality and security of the data transmitted over the internet.The user can choose between the following methods of payment in the Online Shop: credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard), ATM (“pagamento de serviços” option) (at any ATM) and Paypal.
The delivery of orders will be made to the address indicated by the user and in accordance with the carrier's delivery times (CTT Expresso, 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.).
Home delivery cannot be done to PO box addresses. Orders can be delivered abroad providing the address is located inside the carrier's delivery area.
Adega Mayor Online Shop commits itself to delivering the ordered items as soon as possible.
All orders dispatched by the Adega Mayor Online Shop should be examined by the customer upon receipt. If any irregularity or damage to the product is encountered, the customer must return it to the carrier, justify the reason for return on the consignment note and immediately inform Adega Mayor.
Every shipment made outside Mainland Portugal is accompanied by administrative accompanying document (AAD).
